24 Season 7: Delayed... Again

Looks like FOX doesn't think the Writers Guild of America strike is going to be finished any time soon. Yesterday, FOX announced their updated Spring schedule which included the premiere of 24 being suspended indefinitely:

According to TV Guide:
"The seventh season premiere of 24 is being postponed," explains the network, "to ensure that Day 7 can air uninterrupted, in its entirety."

Shoosh! Maybe they can rest easier now that Kiefer's jail-time won't screw much up.

who cares... the more they delay it, the better... at least the world won't have o suffer yet another abominable performance by Sutherland and an awful script by the writers

In the meantime you can watch some low budget 24 shows. Enjoy ;)

Oy - a writer's strike: couldn't this have happened LAST year where they truly can get paid for what last season was worth?

Talking to insiders they really had some out of the box stuff going on, along with some of the most memorable acting from newcomer She-Who-Wears-Presidential-Pants and I'm sincerely bummed that we'll not see if for probably another year.

More as I hear it...

Let me get this straight, you watch a TV show you hate and dedicate a lot of your free time to mocking it. I thought I had no life. I have no problem with you not liking it but you really come of as a loser.

Steve,

By your logic Jon Stewart has no life bacause he mocks a president he hates. Making fun of 24 is, for me, a form of both enormous entertainment and also a kind of relaxation.

I've stumbled upon an article abou Tony's comeback, where, among other things, Howard Gordon suggests Jack Bauer sees ghosts (not really funny, Howard) and he also admits that the writers ahve contradicted themselves many times. Of course, he adds that they did it on purpose. Yeah, right.

What I really can't seem to figure out about this ridiculous blog is the fact that you don't like the show, but still watch it.
On top of that you spend all of your time in making a blog about all of your- in detail- negative impressions of the series.
Though I agree with you that the show doesn't have the same magic it had in the first couple of seasons, it's still a show I can't seem to put down. Reason: my devotion to the show. Every season has it's strong and it's weak moments. Even season 1 has a few weaknesses. I put all my hopes on the future efforts of the writers to take the show to new heights. All I want to say to you: go spend your time on something else.
